Gorgeous Maternity Session at Fairfield County Studio

This mama didn’t come to play, she came to slay! Lorrie already had a few ideas in mind but we were able to get so many different styles in within a 90 minutes span. We had so much fun. That’s exactly what I want to convey during our session- not only a gorgeous result, but a session in which mama feels like the queen she is for a day!
She was a stunning sight. Her heart was set on the cream couture gown by Katherina Hakaj couture, borrowed right from our client closet. We were able to get some gorgeous full body shots of her as well as some aerial overhead shots of her.

We then continued and she wanted to do something a little more artistic and raw. Many moms at first say that they’re not sure if they’d like to do semi nude maternity portraits- but in all honesty it is something so beautiful to capture that I am able to convince mom almost every time! The results speak for themselves.

One of the main questions that I sometimes get is ” Do you recommend Studio Maternity or Outdoor Maternity?” in which I tell my mamas that although studio portraits are gorgeous and so different, that they should choose a place that they’ve always loved or consider doing a  little bit of both. One of the great things about our Fairfield County studio is that it’s right off of exit 30 from I-95, as well as only a 7 minute drive to the beach. I do give the option of doing both, we begin at the studio and can drive on over to the beach for the sunset- the best of both worlds.
