When I first met these two wonderful parents, we were ready to begin a beach maternity session at one of the beautiful beaches in Milford, CT. They were SO excited- their images were stunning and the love shone bright. They were also ready to be surprised to find out if they were having a boy or girl! Just a couple of months later, baby Navy arrived and I received the good news via text.

I couldn’t wait for her newborn photography session! Previously to knowing if Navy was a boy or girl, they told me they loved baseball- that their baby was going to be born into a Red Sox family. I ordered a little baseball bow shortly after our maternity session-just in case. When they were looking for a newborn photographer, they really wanted someone that could do in- home newborn sessions.

We started off with sweet baby girl getting nice and sleepy, full, and warm in the comfort of their home in Weston, CT. It was beautiful, and they had created a large enough space for me to set up.

We captured her in her mom’s favorite outfit, a plain onesie with a tie-dye bow and a simple backdrop. I loved the beauty and simplicity of this session. Baby girl slept the whole time. Unlike my Fairfield County Newborn Studio sessions, in home sessions are unique in the sense that I brought everything to them so they didn’t have to worry about a thing. The beauty of our Connecticut in home newborn sessions is that I provide fabrics, wraps, backdrops, lighting, outfits, all which I have chosen and bought. I love hand crafted and luxurious props, because I want my newborn session clients to have the best of the best.
