Windy Beach Maternity Session in Connecticut

The Milford Connecticut coastline is a picture-perfect backdrop for maternity photoshoots, but sometimes, the wind can add some “drama” and moodiness to our images.. That was the case for this recent session on a breezy beach day. Despite the wind gusts, we managed to capture some stunning images that highlight the beauty of pregnancy in nature.

We started with a classic beach look, featuring a flowing beige dress that our mom to be requested from our client closet. Even though she was frozen, she rocked it! We wrapped her with a blanket in between shots.. Next, we switched to a more casual summer look, a floral and strapless dress. This look added a touch of ease and comfort, and the wind gave the photos a carefree feel.

Finally, we finished the session with a romantic shot of mom to be standing near the rocks, gazing back with a gorgeous lace dress with her belly peeking out. The wind was really whipping at this point and her hair was so dramatic in the last segment- I loved the results!

Overall, this windy beach maternity session was a memorable experience. The end result were images that are both beautiful and timeless.
