This was such a stunning session captured in our Fairfield County Connecticut Newborn and Maternity Studio!

Recently, we had the pleasure of documenting Nicole and Peter during their couple maternity session. We wanted to create a gallery that was both timeless and unforgettable, as they were awaiting their first little bundle of love.

For the first portion of the session, we utilized studio lighting to create that editorial atmosphere. The backdrop I normally start with is the beautiful cream concrete wall from “Shades of Drops” and a gorgeous tulle gown from Katharina Hakaj. I feel like it literally looks beautiful and classic with any setup or gown! I love the initial looks from this part.

In addition to studio lighting, we also took advantage of the soft, natural light streaming through the window when we opened up the curtains. This lighting setup was perfect for the draped, white fabrics that Nicole requested- check out the dreamy results!

We incorporated a variety of fabrics and gowns. Nicole really loved the neutrals, whites, florals, and even a touch of baby blue for her little boy 🙂

I was so thrilled with the results of Nicole and Peter’s maternity session. I could not wait to show them at their gallery reveal! It was so amazing designing their maternity album.The combination of studio lighting, natural light, and carefully chosen fabrics and gowns created a gallery that is both elegant and heartwarming. We hope that these images will serve as a beautiful reminder of this magical time in their lives for years to come.
