Welcoming Baby Aidan to the World!

There’s nothing quite as magical as the arrival of a newborn baby boy. Capturing those precious early days is one thing that will last a lifetime. For Aidan’s family, we were happy to have the opportunity to create lasting memories in our newborn studio photography session in Connecticut.

We started Aidan’s session with a prop mom brought- a gigantic stuffed animal “Totoro”. Being that she is part Japanese and wanted to represent her culture and her favorite cartoon as a child, this was the perfect wat to do so. With a little photoshop merging and magic, the result was super adorable!

Next, we went with a prop that’s always a client favorite- the heart bowl. Aidan looked absolutely adorable swaddled inside the heart-shaped prop. One of my favorite ways to document this moment is to add mom and dad’s hands to the image. It’s such a stunning shot!

May the Fourth Be With You

To commemorate May the 4th, Star Wars Day, we had a special segment with a Baby Yoda setup. Dressed in a cute little Baby Yoda knit hat and holding a tiny baby Yoda, Aidan looked absolutely adorable as he slept inside of a small rectangular basket prop. It was a fun and unique way to celebrate this May babe!

Here are a few more images from Aidan’s newborn session- mom and dad really loved the tans, neutrals, and touches of sage green. Such a gorgeous newborn session.

Of course, no newborn session is complete without capturing those precious family moments. We had the opportunity to photograph Aidan with his parents. These moments as a family of three are unforgettable!
