Capturing Precious Moments: Stitch’s In-Home puppy newborn shoot in Connecticut

Bringing a new puppy into your home is an exciting time, filled with joy and wonder. Just like with human newborns, those early days fly by in a blur. That’s why capturing these precious moments with professional pet photography is so important. I had the pleasure of photographing Stitch, a sweet little Boston terrier puppy, in the comfort of his family’s home in Connecticut.

This in-home newborn puppy photoshoot allowed us to capture Stitch in his natural environment, surrounded by familiar scents and sounds. I used a combination of natural light as well as artificial lights from the Christmas tree. From sleepy cuddles to playful moments, each one was so precious to document this new chapter. Just like with human babies, puppies love to be warm and cozy so we kept the room very toasty and comfortable. As always, prioritizing the safety and well-being of the puppy during the photoshoot is extremely important.
