🤍 For Baby

• When I arrive to your home, it typically takes me about 20 minutes or so to set up for a studio style session. This is the perfect time to give your baby a full feeding! A full, sleepy baby is the goal.
• Try to have “awake time” for 45–60 minutes beforehand if possible (bath, diaper change, snuggles).
• Dress baby in loose pajamas and wrap in blanket so we don’t disturb them too much.

Do not stress if baby has other plans — we let your baby lead with his or her cues.

For Your Home

Since I bring everything needed for a studio-style setup:

• Clear an open space in your home.
• Turn the heat up slightly.
• Don’t worry about deep cleaning! I’ll work around your space and handle all setup + breakdown.
• A light decluttering goes a long way for the area I will be working in.

What to Wear (Parents + Siblings)

• Stick with neutral tones: creams, beige, soft gray, muted pastels.
• Avoid logos, bold patterns, or neon colors.
• Bare feet or shoes, both photograph great!
• For moms: simple tops or knit sweaters, or flowy dresses photograph best.

For Young siblings

• Let them know they’ll be in photos first (this helps with attention spans).
• Have a small snack or quiet activity ready for after their turn.
• Don’t stress about behavior — It is totally normal I work quickly and keep it fun.
• Toddlers don’t need to be perfect, and I will work with them to get some sweet moments together with their new baby.

Pets

If you have pets:

• Fur babies are always welcome!
• Having a place for them to relax during the session is helpful.

What Parents Should Expect

• Sessions typically last 2–3 hours to allow time for feeding, soothing, and diaper changes.
• I guide everything — posing, transitions, and family groupings.
• Your only job is to relax and I will let you know when we are ready for your shot!

Your home doesn’t need to look like a magazine and your baby doesn’t need to be “perfect.” Some of the most beautiful images come from quiet moments, cuddles, and real connection.
