Capturing Motherhood

Pauline’s maternity session was a wonderful experience that showcased the beauty of motherhood. I had the privilege of capturing these precious moments both indoors in our Connecticut studio and outdoors at a local park also in Fairfield County, which resulted in a gorgeous gallery with so many beautiful images.

Indoor Segment in Studio

Our studio shoot allowed us to experiment with various lighting setups and backdrops, creating an editorial and more intimate atmosphere. Pauline’s choice of gowns and fabrics were elegant and timeless. We played with soft light and dramatic shadows to highlight her growing belly bump. Pauline loved the idea of having some magazine like images in studio, as well as some outside in a more natural setting.

Outdoor Segment at the Park in Stratford, Ct

For the outdoor portion of the session, we headed to a nearby park, where we captured Pauline and her family. We were able to capture candid moments between Pauline, her husband, and their four-year-old son. We incorporated the park’s natural background into the photos, it was truly a perfect golden hour evening.

Memories

Pauline’s maternity session was a beautiful reminder of the magic and wonder of motherhood. We are honored to have been able to capture these precious moments for her family to cherish for years to come. The variety of settings, lighting, and poses resulted in a stunning collection of images that perfectly capture the essence of Pauline’s pregnancy journey.
