I had the sweetest time photographing baby Avery’s newborn session right at home in Stratford, Connecticut. It feels like just yesterday I was capturing her big brother Jaxson’s newborn photos, and now here we are a few years later welcoming his baby sister. Time truly flies!

This session was extra special because the whole family joined in — even the family dog, who sniffed her newest little sibling. I love when pets get to be part of these memories, it makes the photos even more meaningful.

For Avery’s setups, we created some beautiful and dreamy looks. For baby girls, the wooden heart bowl prop is a must ! We followed with a light purple set while holding a newborn-sized guitar, we also incorporated a tiny mermaid outfit to celebrate being a summer baby. We also styled her in an all-white bucket shot and a sweet little bed prop that fit her perfectly.
