Jaxson turns one! His cake smash theme was a mix between neutral colors and a splash of “Wild One.” I’ve photographed this little guy since his newborn session at their home in Stratford, CT. We blinked and now he is one! When setting up at my Fairfield County Studio ( located right off of exit 30 from i-95), I wanted a touch of jungle vibes for his cake smash, but not fully. I went with accents from hobby lobby, Michael’s, and put my own touch with some beautiful sitter props that I have. We even did a little studio set up for him for Christmas. I had to throw it back and incorporate the sleigh that I used for his newborn session. He was the happiest ,smiliest, little guy ever! He loved the cake and he loved pictures. We started off with the neutral setup, and moved right into the Christmas set, then right into setting up with the cake. We ended up wrapping up the session with a bubble bath. and a short but sweet family segment- Oh what fun to be One!
