What a blessing this sweet girl was to her family. She arrived in the Spring and was named Ariel. As you can imagine, her mom and dad loved the fact that they could envision a little mermaid newborn setup- which is exactly what we did. Mom’s sister had gifted her a really sweet and perfectly fitting newborn mermaid outfit and the colors were just perfect. I knew ahead of time that this is what they wanted to do , so I brought along my small floor backdrops from Intuition backdrops- my beach themed one named”Summerland” and it worked out better than I had imagined. Ariel was already over one month at the time of her newborn session, but we were able to accomplish such gorgeous moments. Do not let newborn photographers tell you that your baby has to be less than two weeks old! Maybe some like to work that way, but things can happen which may result in you having to push your session back. I’ve taken “newborns” up to 6, 7, and even 8 weeks.
