There’s no doubt that 2023 has been in full swing! I’ve met so many beautiful families and finally catching up on blogging some beautiful fall babies. Fall was filled with babies, baby bumps, and toddlers- in between shooting sessions, ordering appointments, order pickups, editing, and personal, it really did fly by! Baby Lily was a six pound cutie. I remember when I first spoke with them, it was dad who reached out from the hospital- this was his second child and confessed that the time really flew by the second time around and they never got around to booking their newborn photographer. They reached out asking for my availability and I was able to squeeze their session in on a day early when I had afternoon sessions already. Lily was the sleepiest baby, and only opened her eyes halfway in between. Parents, you will never regret having your first portraits done with your little one!

Mom and dad’s memories of their babies together seemingly are the most special of the whole session. Sometimes at our ordering appointments, there are even a few tears when they view their images. It is something that will always be a memory of how little they were at that moment, a moment frozen in time I know I cherish those moments and will do so by keeping them on my walls forever. Mom and dad ended up choosing a large number of favorites because they simply could not narrow it down more. That lets me know that I’ve done my job and that my clients will be happy. The moments are truly priceless.

The many expressions of baby Lily! I literally could photograph her all day. We used soft tones for her session, although mom and dad let me run free creatively which I loved! Some would say my newborn photography style is soft, dreamy, and sweet.
