Addalynn’s first year cake smash photography session was a winter wonderland dream come true! Her session colors were pastels, baby pinks and whites, which created a soft and delicate look. Our beautiful studio with floor to ceiling windows in New Haven/Fairfield County CT was the perfect setting for her winter wonderland themed cake smash.

Addalynn arrived at the studio wearing a white tutu and a pastel pink headband. She was immediately drawn to the winter wonderland backdrop, which featured a white fur rug, snow-capped trees, and twinkling lights. She couldn’t wait to start exploring!

We started the session with some simple portraits of Addalynn sitting on the plain wooden plank backdrop on a little stool. Her sweet mom picked out an outfit for her for this segment from out baby outfit client closet. She was such a happy and smiley baby, and she loved posing for the camera. We then moved on to some cake smash fun!

Addalynn’s cake was a gorgeous soft pink and white with floral accents. It was a white cake with pastel pink frosting and real florals. We placed the cake in front of her, and she immediately started digging in! She used her hands, her feet, and even her face to smash the cake. It was a messy good time!

After Addalynn was finished smashing her cake, we gave her a warm bath to clean her up. She loved splashing in the water and playing with her toys. We ended the session with some more portraits of Addalynn in her bath. She was so relaxed and happy, and she looked absolutely adorable.

Addalynn’s winter wonderland cake smash photography session was a perfect way to celebrate her first year. She had a blast smashing her cake and playing in the bath.
