Vanessa’s Family Photography Session in our Fairfield County Studio

Vanessa’s family recently came to my studio for a photography session, and it was an absolute joy to capture their love and connection. As a CT family photographer, I love getting to know my clients and creating images that will be cherished for years to come.

I spoke with Vanessa quite a few times prior to actually meeting her in person. She wanted to let me know that her mother was unable to walk well, as she has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and that it was getting worse. Vanessa’s goal was to book this special session- she didn’t want to miss these moments with not only her mom and dad, but also her precious son and daughter. The mommy and me moments and the grandparents/grandchildren segment were my favorite!

Vanessa and her family were so much fun to work with. They were all full of smiles and laughter, and it was easy to see how much they care for each other. We started the session with some individual portraits, and then moved on to some family shots. I love capturing the different dynamics between family members, and I think we were able to do that in these photos.

One of my favorite things about this session was the love. You can pose, you can stage, but you cannot duplicate REAL SMILES AND LAUGHTER. We went with a modern look, with everyone dressed in white and jeans. For Vanessa’s session, I used soft lighting and neutral colors.

I’m so happy with the way these photos turned out. I think they perfectly capture the love and joy of Vanessa’s family. I know they will cherish these photos for years to come.
